Titelcards

Bezig geweest met een titelcard voor mijn animatiefilm "Koppiekrauw"
Hier is het resultaat:

Geïnspireerd door de titelcards van Tom & Jerry cartoons uit de jaren '40/'50.
Vond vroeger die geschilderde titelcards erg mooi en sfeerfol.

Hier onder een paar voorbeelden.

Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?

Here is a character that i tought is wel designed.
You can see in an instant that he's up to no good.
I just love his facial expresion (and his stylisch top hat ofcourse).

I love the way how his eyes squint
















And ofcourse he's alway's in for a stereotype dressup party.

Ever puffed or sneezed so hard, youre pants dropped?

Just sliding naked trough the chimney, that wil teach em nasty critters!

Bears

I tried to make various bear expressions on these drawings.

These bears are taking it easy.

This is an uncomfortable smile bear.

And you don't mess with this bear in his cute little pants.

And here is a little walkcycle sketch.

And of course a very famous bear and a version how he might look like when he is retired, or when he have hit rock bottom.

Self Portrait

Made a self portrait for a little practice so i don't get rusty. Still need to control drawing the shadows a bit so it wont get to blurry, but i am pleased with the results.

Hoge Veluwe Cartoon for kids

I made this Cartoon for nature park de Hoge Veluwe in the netherlands.
It is shown in the visitors centre there, so if people got bored of nature
or if they need to calm their kids for a couple of minutes, or when it's raining,
people can look at the animations there.

I tried not to be to educative so i've taken a vew liberties to make the truth look more entertaining.
